Ok. Well, it depends. I think if you have the micro SIM card it will work in an iPhone, but maybe it is tethered to the phone. I say I think because I use Verizon, which doesn’t have sim cards. Although, the only way to get an iPhone at the $ 300 or $ 200 price is to get it with a 2-year contract, otherwise its $ 700 or $ 800 so you may be able to use your existing SIM card, but only if it is for any kind of smartphone, because they have a data contract with them. If you didn’t need data, then you could use your new iPhone with a dumbphone SIM card, but if you use anything that requires data, you will be charged. Keep in mind, all of this only works if you have a micro SIM. To recap: you should be able to use your micro SIM on a GSM iPhone, but if you don’t already own an iPhone, the price will be steep if you don’t fell like paying for two contracts.
